Papa & Grandma's Visit

My mom and dad were able to stop through this week. We had another mini party for Annie (cinnamon bagels with frosting). The kids had a fun time reading with them and blowing bubbles outside. We're so thankful that they are able to pass through for the afternoon.

Anneka Turns 1 !

Our little Annie Belle turned ONE! She had a fun time opening all of the presents. She giggled whenever the paper would tear.

Uncle Luke flew in for a quick business trip to Tucson on Annie's actual birthday. We had a fun time catching up and celebrating the day. Cayden's tells me often that his new best friend is Uncle Luke.

Lucas was able to take pictures of Annie trying to walk in between Jason and I. She is now taking 3 little steps at a time.

We had an Easter Egg party for Annie at the park. We invited close friends and friends from the playgroups that we are involved in. All of the kids had a great time collecting the Easter Eggs.

The Pima Air and Space Museum

We had a Sunday Adventure to the Pima Air and
Space Museum. Cayden was awe struck by all of the
planes. It was amazing.
Here is a picture of him by the Wright Flyer.

Cayden wanted to climb aboard most of the planes.
There were so many of them in the museum, that we lost count.
I think his dad was just as excited as he was. Annie & I could barely keep up with the two of them.

If you look in the lower left hand corner of the picture, you can see Jason standing.
It was a big Jet...HUGE!!!!

These pictures are of the Presidential "Airforce One" of JFK. It was amazing to see.

March has been a month of visitors. Our best friends from College,
Kent and Carli Boos came for their first visit toTucson. We had so much fun!

We introduced them to our favorite restaurant in Tucson,The Frog n' Firkin. We ended up singing Karaoke at Shooters. Carli and I rocked the mike, just like old times :)

My good friend Sylvia was in town for a couple of days. She drove in to have lunch and see the kids. I met Sylvia while working at the Dialysis clinic, and she has been a great friend to our family. It was a wonderful time catching up with her and we miss her dearly.

Papa and Grandma's Visit

We had a surprise visit in February from Papa and Grandma Gunderson. The kids had alot of fun reading stories and playing. It is such a blessing that they are able to make their way through Tucson.

Annie and the Piano

Annie is quite the cruiser these days. When she started out crawling, it was slowly but surely. But now, she can zip right along. She is standing up to things, and has found the keys to the piano. She loves to Tink Tink Tink little songs...the funny thing is that she trys to dance while she does it. Her little legs are so short, and so most of the time she is on her tippy toes.

The Itty Bitty Open

Cayden participated in the Itty Bitty Open this year. Daddy was the Caddy. There were Disney Characters at each hole. The kids had alot of fun. One of Cayden's favorite books is P is for Putt. When it comes to golf, Putting is his favorite things to do.

Cayden Turns 3

Cayden had his 3rd Birthday the end of January. We celebrated by throwing him a co-op party with two of his buddies, Aiden and Mathew, at PUMP IT UP. It is a building with inflatable slides, obstacle course, and jumping castles. It's one of our favorite places in Tucson.

It's hard to believe the little man is 3 already! He is talking so much these days, and says the funniest things. He ends about every sentence with "just in case" or "that would be easier". He loves waiting for the mail to come each day, and the garbage truck is one of his best friends. His favorite thing to do is to throw the ball for his dog Darcy. His favorite shoes are his McQueen boots that he got for his Birthday from Grandma and Papa. Hopefully it rains soon :)
His favorite games are hide-n-seek, Candy Land and he loves Music Time. Every night after dinner we have Family Music time. We get out all of the music toys and dance to Sugarland's "All I want to do-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo" It's so much fun. He usually strums his guitar and makes up his own words (just like his mom). Annie just plays the drum, and is so proud of herself. It's one of my favorite times of the day too.
